Lethal Dose

It doesn’t take much fentanyl to kill you. Fentanyl is up to 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin. A lethal dose of fentanyl is equivalent to

  • a few grains of salt

  • 2 mg or grains of sand

  • the size of a small ant

The naked eye cannot recognize if drugs have been laced with fentanyl. Even using test strips is not 100% effective and reliable.

If drugs are laced or replaced with fentanyl, you won’t be able to see it, taste it, or smell it.
