National Fentanyl Awareness Day (NFAD) is a yearly, cross-sector day of action held on April 29th in the United States, designed to raise public awareness about the dangers of illegal, synthetic fentanyl and to prevent overdose deaths. The initiative brings together families, schools, law enforcement, and corporations to spread information about counterfeit pills and the high lethality of fentanyl.
